Chida International Hotel first started in August 1995 as Chida Hotel with only 16 rooms within the serene environment of Asokoro District of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. The modest but tastefully furnished Hotel started off with a clear focus on aims and goals and a drive that has enabled us meet our goals and achievements.
As a result of our excellent service, increasing demands for more rooms by clients propelled us to expand to 30 rooms. Word spread fast and soon attracted guests from all over the world.
In 1998, a new site was acquired at Utako District of the Federal Capital Territory for the construction of a larger hotel. The dream of the Board of Chida Hotel was to build an Ultra Modern Hotel that would be a reference point in the Hospitality industry in Nigeria.
The brand new Chida International Hotel was commissioned on November 27th 2003 by the then Vice president , His Excellency Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
Currently, Chida International Hotel has over 200 highly trained employees working in various departments namely: Front Office, Food and Beverages, Accounts, Human resources, Housekeeping, Engineering, Laundry, Sales and Marketing .
Staff undergo frequent training both locally and internationally to equip them with the tools they need to deliver. Dubai and USA are amongst the training locations.
